1.5 cups milk
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
1/4 cup shortening
1 egg
2 tbsp yeast
1/2 cup warm water
5 cups flour
Mix milk and water and sugar together, warm for 1 minute in microwave, add yeast and let set until bubbly - 5 minutes or more. Add this to stand mixer with dough hook, stir in eggs, shortening, and flour, mix/knead for 5 minutes. Move to a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap and dish towel and let rise until doubled, at least 1 hour. Roll dough to large rectangle, then brush with butter, sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll up long ways and cut into rolls.
Mix syrup for bottom of pan:
3/4 cup corn syrup
1/2 cup butter melted
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
Grease 9x13 pan, add syrup, add cut rolls, let rise at least 30 minutes. Bake at 350 for 20 ish minute or until done. Top with cream cheese frosting (whip cream cheese, vanilla, butter and powdered sugar to taste).
